38 minutes

It's four months since I've posted any of my own pictures here - mostly down to me getting a new job and a new left hip within the space of a few weeks. Both of the additions are wonderful but they've left me with little time to take photographs or to process the many that are sitting on my hard drive. It's time to change that.

These pictures were taken three weeks ago over a 38 minute period during a quick visit to Birling Gap. It was the first time I'd picked up a camera since my operation and my first outing without a walking stick. I didn't plan on staying for such a short period but after losing my balance and very nearly crashing to the floor, I took the hint and headed home.

Little shock aside, it was - as ever - a beautiful time at a place that always lifts my soul.

All the pictures were taken with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 and either the 12-40 f2.8 lens or the 75mm f1.8. Please click on any image to go in to a scrollable lightbox view.
