Munich / München

Barbara Stumm is barbera* on Flickr and b1 in Jibbr. She was also my companion on a short trip to Munich last summer. It was a wonderful few days - my first visit to the city - with plenty of sights. These included the Brandhorst Museum (designed by Sauerbruch Hutton), Herz Jesu Church (by Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten), Highlight Towers (designed by Murphy/Jahn) and, of course, lots of wonderful u-bahn stations, such as Olympia-Einkaufszentrum, Olympiazentrum and Marienplatz. I'm sure I'll return one day as we only scratched the surface of this wonderful city.

(Many thanks to another Jibbr member, Rita Vita Finzi, for helping me select the images!)

All the pictures were taken with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 and either the 12-40 f2.8 lens or the 75mm f1.8. Please click on any of them to go in to a scrollable lightbox view.
