In and around the Olympic Park

I went back to the Olympic Park a few weeks ago for the first time since the Games themselves in 2012. (I posted a few pictures from that visit last year). It was a wonderful day out - one that I'd recommend to anybody who lives in easy travelling distance as there's plenty to see, do and shoot while you're there. As it happens, whilst nearly all of these pictures were taken from within the Park itself (a couple were taken a few short steps outside), only seven of them are of structures within it. The other nine are of things around the edge.

These pictures should have been posted a while ago - perhaps it's the Glasgow Commonwealth Games that's encouraged me to pull my finger out :)

All the pictures were taken with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 and either the 12-40 f2.8 lens or the 75mm f1.8. Please click on any image to go in to a scrollable lightbox view.
